Christoph Klenner will join TraNeXus, a blockchain technology solutions provider to the global travel and tourism industry, as Board Member and CEO of its new operating company on September 1, 2018.
For the past nine years, Christoph led the European travel technology industry association, and prior to that, he advised blue chip companies such as Boeing Co., Dubai Ports World, Emirates, Expedia, Japan Air Lines and NetJets, on strategy and public policy.
Geoffrey Lipman, Jt. Managing Director of TraNeXus Holding and President of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP), said: “We are very excited to have Christoph join our growing team. He brings with him considerable transversal expertise in the strategic, financial, legal and regulatory aspects of the travel technology business. With the board, Christoph will help focus the strategic direction of TraNeXus and position the company as a highly-innovative and creative blockchain solutions provider to the travel and tourism industry. We will particularly link TraNexus programs with SUNx Strong Universal Network to ensure that all our travel products and services are tied to the Paris Climate Accord and its low carbon economy ambition.”
TraNeXus will launch an Initial Token Offering (ITO) in the last quarter of 2018, The ITO is subject to all applicable regulations of the Irish Republic. Following the ITO, TraNeXus will begin developing a number of dedicated applications including the TraNeXus Wallet and the TraNeXus Eco Travel Assistant for positive Impact-Travel. They will run on a proprietary blockchain, secured by WISEkey SA, a leading cybersecurity company listed on the Swiss stock exchange.
